With the CEREC system, it only takes one appointment.
With CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) technology, we can provide patients with a new crown in a single visit. The process involves using a 3D camera to photograph the tooth, which can be a more comfortable alternative to dental impressions. Once your teeth have been photographed, our team can then use the CEREC technology to calculate measurements and create your unique, custom-fitted crown.
Once designed, a milling machine will create your new crown for us to put in. Despite the fact that these crowns are created quickly using advanced technology, there is a minimal price difference between CEREC crowns and traditional, lab-made crowns.
